The Netherlands Under-21 team - The Jong Oranje - who host the UEFA European Under-21 Championships in June, warm up for the tournament with international friendly matches against Morocco and Poland. The Dutch Under-21 coach, Foppe de Haan, has arranged for two international friendly matches - against Morocco in Tilburg’s Willem II Stadium on May 22 and then against Poland in Deventer’s Adelaarshorst Stadium on June 1. They will also face a team of players with Surinamese backgrounds - The Suriprofs - at the Olympic stadium in Athens on 26 May, three days after the stadium hosts the Champions League Final between Liverpool and AC Milan. The Netherlands have been drawn in Group A in the finals, alongside Portugal, Belgium and Israel for the tournament which takes place between June 10 and June 23. |
